Admissions

Thank you for your interest in Bethesda Academy! As a successful school for middle school and high school boys, we offer unique opportunities for young men to reach their fullest potential academically, spiritually, socially and professionally.

While we strive to provide the Bethesda opportunity to as many families as possible, admission is focused on those boys interested in the Bethesda experience and exhibiting a desire to garner all of the benefits the school offers. It is important that students and their families understand that Bethesda offers an integrated learning experience emphasizing academics, personal growth, and development of the mind, body and spirit.

As you enter the admissions process, keep in mind that Bethesda offers an opportunity for students to grow and learn in an environment that is sensitive to the challenges of becoming a young man in today’s world. Our students are carefully screened in hopes of ensuring that we are the best option to consider for them, and that they can meet Bethesda’s challenges and expectations.

Please note that while we offer supervision, support and guidance for young men, we are not equipped to offer psychological or psychiatric treatment, special education, punitive intervention or alternative schooling.

Bethesda admissions staff is available to speak with parents regarding the IEP of their son, to determine if the staff of Bethesda Academy can administer the plan.

Tuition is always a consideration when looking into private school options. While Bethesda has a generous financial aid program, it is important that families know what their tuition responsibility will be.  You have the option to apply for financial aid before enrolling your son.
