After School Program

Bethesda Plus signifies what happens after the regular school day ends. Research strongly suggests that after school programming, both during the regular academic year and during the summer, enhances and strengthens the learning process. At Bethesda Academy, service clubs are also incorporated into the Bethesda Plus experience. Bethesda students participate in service projects across the Savannah community. Additional tutoring, and counseling support are also offered as part of the Bethesda Plus program, along with summer programming to enhance academic gains made during the regular school year.

Students may remain on campus under the supervision of Bethesda After-School Care staff until 5:30pm on school days for a small additional fee.

Summer Programming

Horizons SavannahBeginning in 2012, Bethesda Academy became the site for Horizons Savannah’s academic enrichment program in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades. The main programming for younger Horizons students takes place at a different school site; however, Bethesda is a frequent field trip destination for the entire Horizons Savannah program.  Horizons Savannah is a six-week program during the months of June and July.
